Egypt’s Grand Mufti and Secretary-General of Fatwa Authorities Worldwide Shawki Allam commended Sunday the Armed Forces’ successful operations to hunt down terrorist groups in North Sinai.

 

In a statement on Sunday evening, Allam also praised the Armed Forces’ relentless efforts to uproot terrorism in North Sinai.

 

He emphasized that the resolve of the Armed Forces’ brave members is growing stronger day after day, and they will relentlessly continue to hunt down terrorist groups to purge the area of them.

 

As many as 10 terrorists were killed, and one more was arrested during a raid on a hideout in North Sinai governorate as part of ongoing anti-terror operations, the Armed Forces announced Sunday.
