Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has commended the important and pivotal role played by Egyptian embassies in defending the state’s interests abroad.
The minister made his remarks on Tuesday 14/3/2023 at a ceremony organized by the Foreign Ministry at the Diplomatic Club to mark the Egyptian Diplomacy Day, which falls on March 15.
He welcomed all participants at the event, lauding great efforts exerted by all members of the diplomatic corps to serve the interests of their country abroad and support Egyptian expats.
Shoukry also highlighted the Foreign Ministry’s significant role in maintaining the state’s gains, defending national security and backing Egyptians living abroad at all levels.
