Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister El Sayyed El Quseir met on Monday 13/2/2023 with Chadian Minister of State for Agricultural Production and Transformation Lauken Korayo Medar, to intensify ways of cooperation in the agricultural field between the two countries, in the presence of a number of Egyptian investors in Chad.

El Quseir welcomed the Chadian Minister and affirmed the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide all aspects of support to the brothers in Chad, noting that the strength of relations between the two countries, and the enormous potential of Chad in terms of natural resources, Livestock, fisheries, and agriculture that help the African continent achieve food security.

The Minister said that the cooperation fields with Chad also include modern irrigation, developing new varieties of seeds, agricultural mechanization, as well as livestock, fisheries, poultry, training and development of capabilities.

For his part, the Chadian minister affirmed his country’s willingness to cooperate with Egypt in transferring the technology to maximize the use of natural resources available in Chad, in order to support the efforts of the two brotherly countries to achieve food security.
