Cairo: The Egyptian Red Crescent is actively participating in securing Eid al-Adha celebrations by enhancing readiness across all its branches nationwide. They have deployed 171 emergency response teams of volunteers to ensure medical security, provide first aid, and enable rapid intervention during the festivities.

According to State Information Service Egypt, these emergency response teams have been stationed at over 120 locations across the country. They have effectively secured Eid al-Adha prayers at designated squares and major mosques. Throughout Eid, these teams will remain positioned at public parks to swiftly manage any emergencies that may arise.

The central operations room of the Egyptian Red Crescent operates around the clock to oversee the implementation of the security plan. It is tasked with upgrading readiness levels and maintaining constant coordination with field teams to ensure immediate responses to any situations requiring intervention.
