Minister of Manpower Hassan Shehata said that Egypt will work with the development partners to implement the Palestinian National Employment Strategy, asserting that Egypt’s connection with and support for the Palestinian cause have always been firm.
This came on Thursday 23/2/2023 during the inaugural session of a high-level conference on supporting the implementation of the Palestinian National Employment Strategy in Jordan in the presence of development partners, including Arab manpower ministers, representatives of the Arab Labor Organization and the International Labor Organization, the UN agencies and international financial institutions.
The minister asserted the importance of this strategy and its noble goals in addition to its role in boosting the information system of the labor market, supporting employment services, linking social protection with activating the market, boosting institutions of dialogue and social security and improving the systems of education and technical and vocational training to cope with the needs of the labor market.
Palestinian Labor Minister Nasri Abu Jaish asserted, in his word, that the Palestinian government is working via this strategy along with a package of political procedures and work programs to up employment rates through creating more job opportunities.
