Egypt enjoys promising exporting opportunities in drugs field

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Thursday 9/3/2023 that the state gives great attention to the industry and exporting sector.

This came during a meeting to discuss means of facilitating measures to issue licenses for drugs and medical equipment factories.

The meeting was attended by Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Finance Minister Mohamed Mait, Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply, and Health Technology Bahaa El Din Zidan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Medicines Authority Tamer Essam, Head of Egypt’s Customs Authority El-Shahat Ghatouri, head of the Egyptian Tax Authority Mokhtar Tawfik, Chairman and Managing Director at Future Pharmaceutical Industries Gamal El-Leithy and Head of Investment Services Sector of General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Yasser Abbas.

During the meeting, the premier noted that Egypt enjoys great and promising exporting opportunities in this field.

He also directed to form a joint committee to facilitate all challenges and obstacles facing investment in the medical field in Egypt.
