Egypt expressed its sincere condolences to the Lebanese people and the families of the victims whose boat capsized off the Lebanese coast of Tripoli city on Saturday night.
According to a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday, Egypt said it stands by Lebanon in this painful plight, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
Egypt called on the international community to unify its efforts to put an end to the illegal migration’s phenomenon, the statement added.
