Arab League to convene urgently at request of Jordan, Egypt, Palestine

The Arab League is scheduled to hold an urgent session on Wednesday, at the level of permanent delegates in an extraordinary session, to discuss and counter the continuous Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the entire occupied Palestinian territory. In a statement, Palestine’s Representative to the bloc, Muhannad Aklouk, said the meeting is held at request of Jordan, Egypt and Palestine. Aklouk added that the delegates will discuss demands to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, amid the continued Israeli aggression, the latest was Israel’s massacre in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in which dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured.
