Ahly secured a 2-0 win over their Cairo rivals, Zamalek, to clinch the Egyptian Super Cup for a record-extending 12th time.
The game was played at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in UAE’s al-Ain on Friday.
Brazilian winger Bruno Savio scored the opener six minutes before the break, while substitute Karim Fouad killed the game with Ahly’s second goal one minute into the additional time.
