As many as 28 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.
In a statement on Sunday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 9,350 tons.
Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 63,624 tons, according to the statement.
Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 161,087 tons.
