Transport Minister: Egyptian Women, Especially Working Mothers, Key Partners in Nation’s Progress

Cairo: Minister of Transport Kamel el Wazir affirmed that Egyptian women, especially working mothers, have proven throughout history to be key partners in the nation's progress, supporting it in times of challenge and contributing through their efforts and dedication to the path of construction and development, driven by strong will and deep belief in the value of work.

According to State Information Service Egypt, he added that women have also set an honorable example in balancing family responsibilities with professional demands. This statement was made during a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Transport to honor ideal working mothers at the ministry, as well as its affiliated bodies and companies. This initiative is part of the directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to support all efforts aimed at empowering women and enhancing their role across political, economic, and social spheres, recognizing them as essential partners in building the family and raising children to become active contributors to society.

The minister emphasized that honoring ideal mothers is, in essence, a celebration of a great value within Egyptian society and an affirmation of appreciation for every woman who contributes to building her family and plays her role in creating a strong and advanced society.
