Cairo: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) at the ministry’s headquarters in the new capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting took place on Thursday, 25th December 2025. It brought together key figures to discuss significant topics concerning the preservation and management of antiquities. The council is expected to deliberate on strategies for enhancing the conservation efforts and promoting Egypt’s rich historical heritage on both national and international platforms.
