North sinai: The Second Field Army organized a meeting and an iftar banquet for tribal elders and community leaders from North Sinai, with the presence of several members of parliament and civil society representatives. The event was part of the Armed Forces' effort to improve community engagement with citizens in the governorates under the jurisdiction of field armies and military zones.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Major General Mohamed Youssef Assaf, Commander of the Second Field Army, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, to the attendees. He highlighted the ongoing cooperation with tribal elders across various fields to achieve a decent life for the people of North Sinai.
The tribal elders expressed their appreciation for the Egyptian state's efforts in supporting comprehensive development throughout Sinai. They praised the Armed Forces' role in safeguarding the nation and protecting its sanctities in all strategic directions.
