According to State Information Service Egypt, these visits underscored Egypt's strong condemnation of recent assaults against Gulf Cooperation Council states, reinforcing the message that Egypt stands firmly with its neighboring Arab countries. President El-Sisi's trip began in the UAE, where he was warmly received by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The two leaders engaged in a closed bilateral meeting, with President El-Sisi reiterating Egypt's full support for the UAE's security and stability, particularly in light of recent Iranian actions perceived as hostile.

In their discussions, President El-Sisi highlighted Egypt's diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions, including direct communications with Iran, urging a cessation of unjustified attacks on Gulf states.
