This was followed by another meeting with Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Major General Walid Aref, Major General Khaled Abdullah, and Ms. Soheir Abdullah to focus on the operational enhancements of EgyptAir and the country's airports.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the spokesman for the Presidency, stated that the meetings focused on efforts by the Ministry of Civil Aviation to modernize Egyptian airports, aligning them with international standards. Key projects like the Terminal 4 expansion at Cairo International Airport were reviewed, aimed at boosting passenger and aircraft capacity.

The discussions also addressed ongoing upgrades at airports in Cairo, Luxor, Alexandria, and El Alamein, alongside the construction of new international airports in St. Catherine and El Arish.
