Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi sent a cable of greetings to Irish President Catherine Connolly on the occasion of Ireland's national day. The gesture underscores the diplomatic ties and mutual respect between Egypt and Ireland.

According to State Information Service Egypt, President El-Sisi also took the initiative to delegate Presidential Secretary Hossam Zaatar to the Irish embassy in Cairo. This delegation was tasked with extending greetings on behalf of the Egyptian government, further symbolizing the cordial relations between the two nations.
