President El-Sisi Engages with Egyptian Women, Ideal Mothers at Ittihadia Palace

Cairo: Today, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated in a meeting held at Ittihadia Palace with Egyptian women and ideal mothers. The gathering saw the presence of significant figures including Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Minister of Local Development Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Culture Dr. Gihan Zaki, the President's Advisor for National Security Affairs Dr. Fayza Abou El-Naga, Advisor for Economic Affairs Hala El-Said, President of the National Council for Women Counselor Amal Ammar, and several leading Egyptian women from multiple fields.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, noted that both the Minister of Social Solidarity and the President of the National Council for Women delivered speeches at the meeting's outset. These speeches highlighted efforts to support and empower Egyptian women, focusing on their political, economic, and social empowerment, their leadership roles in society, and the state's initiatives to bolster Egyptian women, especially through social protection programs like "Takaful and Karama." These programs include increased cash support for Egyptian families and female heads of households, alongside promoting women's economic empowerment in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.

President El-Sisi also addressed the attendees, engaging actively in a dialogue on topics concerning women, motherhood, childhood, and social and art initiatives. He expressed his profound respect for women and their crucial national and educational roles, underscoring the importance of preserving women's rights and achievements.

The President underscored the significant role of drama and media in fostering respect for women and ensuring their rights are upheld. He emphasized the necessity of prioritizing the care of orphans, exploring the expansion of the foster family program, and focusing on orphanages, senior care facilities, and support for people with special needs.

Moreover, President El-Sisi praised the contributions of charitable and civil society organizations in funding and providing care for beneficiaries across various categories. He also highlighted the importance of objectively discovering talents in diverse fields, including sports and the arts. He issued directives to explore launching a "State of Arts and Creativity" program, similar to the "State of Recitation" program, to nurture these talents.
