President El-Sisi Engages in High-Level Discussions with Foreign Affairs Minister

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The discussions were centered around the outcomes of Abdelatty's recent diplomatic tour across several key Arab nations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, the Spokesman for the Presidency, provided insights into the comprehensive report received by President El-Sisi. The report highlighted the Foreign Minister's engagements in high-level meetings in countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, and Jordan. These meetings focused on enhancing Egyptian-Gulf-Arab coordination and consultation, emphasizing solidarity and support amidst the region's dynamic developments.

President El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's stance against attacks on Arab countries and reiterated its unwavering support for Arab nations at various levels. He underscored the necessity of collaborative efforts to reduce tensions and advocated for advancing the diplomatic path to maintain regional peace and security. Furthermore, he reaffirmed Egypt's steadfast commitment to the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states.
