Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Ayman Ashour on Sunday stressed the importance of the Egyptian youths’ participation in community dialogues to present their views on development issues and challenges facing society.
The political leadership is keen on continuous support for young people and providing them with the necessary care, the minister said in his speech at the opening ceremony of the third Visions of Youth salon.
The event is a dialogue platform aimed at enhancing youth participation in the development process and the establishment of the new republic, he added.
The national strategy for higher education and scientific research, in its main focus, is based on youth and linking the educational process to the labour market’s requirements, the minister said.
