PM Reviews Talaat Moustafa Group’s Investment Plans in Egypt

Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli reviewed plans by Talaat Moustafa Group to expand its investments in Egypt during the coming period as part of efforts to increase private sector engagement in the economy. This came during a meeting attended by Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Randa el Menshawy, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid, former investment minister Ashraf Salman, and the group's CEO Hisham Talaat Moustafa.According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouli stated that the government is working to create an environment that attracts local and foreign investments and increases private sector activity, particularly in real estate, urban development, and tourism. The meeting highlighted the government's commitment to fostering private sector growth and initiating projects that align with national economic goals.During the meeting, Hisham Talaat Moustafa reviewed the group's projects in urban development and tourism. He shared that cities developed by the group are home to more than 1.2 million residents, including about 600,000 in Madinaty. This underscores the group's significant role in urban development across the country.He also presented plans for a large project in East Cairo within Madinaty, which will include residential units, office spaces, hotels, commercial areas, and entertainment facilities. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure and provide a comprehensive lifestyle destination, contributing to the overall economic and social development in the region.
