Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and his delegation have returned to Cairo from Beirut following a visit focused on enhancing joint cooperation between Egypt and Lebanon. During the visit, Madbouli engaged in bilateral discussions with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the two leaders co-chaired an expanded meeting attended by official delegations from both countries. The discussions aimed at exploring avenues for mutual collaboration and strengthening existing ties.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun welcomed Madbouli at Baabda Palace, where they explored ways to enhance various aspects of their bilateral relationship. Additionally, Madbouli met with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri at the parliament headquarters to discuss strengthening relations across different sectors.
Madbouli also participated in an economic working meeting at the Beirut Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting included numerous representatives from the private sector and business leaders, focusing on expanding economic cooperation between the two nations.
