Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli sent on Monday, March 16, 2026, a cable of greetings to Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty as well as to all Egyptian diplomats, on the occasion of Egyptian Diplomacy Day. The celebration not only marks the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs but also commemorates the efforts of generations of Egyptians in defending national causes and building a modern state.According to State Information Service Egypt, Prime Minister Madbouli emphasized that the history of the Foreign Ministry is a significant part of Egypt's national history. He highlighted the influential role played by Egyptian diplomacy throughout the country's history, noting that diplomats have consistently contributed to the nation's development and addressed various international issues and assignments.
