Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly sent a congratulatory message to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. In his message, Madbouly extended his highest felicitations and sincerest good wishes on behalf of himself and the members of the Cabinet.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister expressed hope that the occasion, which is seen as auspicious, would bring good recompense and reward. He also prayed for Almighty God to accept acts of worship and devotion, wishing for the return of the occasion in good health and continued service. Madbouly further expressed a desire for goodness, security, and stability for Egypt and the wider Arab and Islamic nations.
