PM Briefed on Key Infrastructure and Security Enhancements at Egyptian Airports


Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has been updated on the ministry of civil aviation projects in infrastructure and security system in Egyptian airports to meet international standards. This came as part of his ongoing efforts to ensure that the country’s airports are equipped to handle an increasing number of tourists.



According to State Information Service Egypt, the update was provided during a meeting held on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The meeting included Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El-Hefni and his top assistants, who detailed the advancements made in infrastructure and security systems. These enhancements are aimed at aligning with international standards and improving the overall quality and operational capacity of Egyptian airports.



El-Hefni outlined the ministry’s strategic plans for upgrading airport facilities, emphasizing the importance of these projects in accommodating the rising influx of tourists. The projects are expected to significantly enhance the travel experience and bolster Egypt’s reputation as a global tourist destination.
