Ningbo: Egyptian shooter Omar Khaled Abdelhady secured a sixth-place finish in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol finals at the ISSF World Cup held in Ningbo, China. The event saw participation from athletes representing over 40 countries, marking a significant milestone for Egyptian sports on the international stage.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this was Khaled’s second time reaching a World Cup final. He displayed resilience and precision under intense pressure, competing against some of the sport’s top athletes, including Olympians from the Tokyo and Paris games. Khaled’s performance was notable as he scored 583 out of 600 points, showcasing his technical skill and ability to maintain composure in a global arena.
Hazem Hosny, the President of the Egyptian Shooting Federation, along with the board of directors, praised Khaled’s accomplishment. They highlighted that this achievement is a result of the continuous support that Egyptian sports receive from the state, underscoring the significanc
