Arish: North Sinai Governor Khaled Megawer emphasized the robust connections and fraternity that unify Egyptians, especially in North Sinai, highlighting how these bonds are particularly visible during national and religious celebrations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Governor Megawer shared these sentiments during a meeting with a delegation from the North Sinai Diocese at the governorate headquarters in Arish. The delegation was present to extend Eid al-Fitr greetings, underscoring the unity between different religious communities in the region.

The delegation also brought greetings from Bishop Kosman and other church members, reinforcing the message of unity. Father Gabriel Ibrahim noted that the relationship between Muslims and Christians in Egypt is founded on mutual respect and joint participation in each other's religious events.
