Cairo: Executive Director of the National Election Authority (NEA) Ahmed Bendary has confirmed that the results of the first phase of the House of Representatives elections will be announced on November 18, adhering to the planned timetable. Bendary noted that the vote counting process has been completed.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Bendary shared this information during a phone conversation with Al Qahera News channel on Wednesday. He mentioned that citizens actively participated in the electoral process, casting their votes even amid crowded ballot stations. Furthermore, Bendary highlighted that the authority has not received any reports or comments concerning the elections.

Bendary expressed gratitude to the media for their credible coverage of the elections, emphasizing that it accurately depicted the sentiments of Egyptian citizens.
