Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly praised the significant turnout of both Egyptian and foreign visitors to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and the Pyramids area.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly commended the success of the promotional efforts made for the GEM and various tourist attractions. These efforts were highlighted by the spectacular celebration held for the inauguration of the GEM, which houses treasures of Egyptian civilization and narrates its ancient history. He also anticipated an increase in the number of inbound tourists in the coming period.
This announcement came during the weekly government meeting, chaired by Madbouly, at the Cabinet headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting covered many important topics and files, including security measures for visitors at these tourist and archaeological sites.
Madbouly emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and development in the areas surrounding the Museum and the Pyramids. He issued directives to the Minister of Local Development and the Governor of Giza to focus on these efforts, aiming to reflect a civilized image of the area and enhance the tourist experience. Additionally, he instructed all Governors to prioritize the development and beautification of various main axes and roads.
