Cairo: The Cabinet's Media Center published a series of infographics on its social media platforms highlighting international recognition of Egypt's achievements in empowering and protecting women.
According to State Information Service Egypt, over recent years, Egyptian women witnessed a comprehensive qualitative transformation reflecting a clear national commitment to supporting and empowering them across multiple levels, the infographics pointed out.
Women's participation in decision-making positions expanded, their presence in leadership roles and public life has strengthened, and opportunities in the labor market and entrepreneurial sectors have broadened, the infographics added.
The social rights protections were reinforced, and safety nets targeting women were expanded, according to the infographics.
These efforts are part of an integrated national vision that views women's empowerment as a central pillar of sustainable development, strengthening women's role as key partners in building the modern Egyptian state, the infographic added.
This progress was reflected in improved international indicators related to gender equality and has received wide international recognition, the infographics pointed out.
According to the infographics, Egypt advanced 11 places in the Health and Survival Index issued by the World Economic Forum, ranking 78th in 2025, compared with 89th in 2024. The index measures gender gaps in areas such as public health and life expectancy.
The infographics also noted that Egypt continued, for the fourth consecutive year, to achieve the highest possible score (100%) in the Women's Entrepreneurship Legal Effectiveness Index issued by the World Bank, while maintaining the same score in the Women's Pension Laws Effectiveness Index.
