Cairo: Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar emphasized the importance of speeding up the implementation of national construction projects and digital transformation initiatives, while maintaining adherence to the established timelines.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the remarks were made during a meeting at the ministry's headquarters in the New Capital, where the executive status and recent developments of these projects were reviewed. The meeting focused on 17 projects, which include three digital transformation initiatives, nine new construction and comprehensive development projects, and four projects aimed at enhancing efficiency. Additionally, the discussion included the establishment of primary healthcare units across various governorates, showcasing the nationwide scope and integrated efforts.

The meeting also addressed the progress of establishing a blood bank and a mental health hospital in Damanhour in Beheira, a blood bank in Sharm El Sheikh in South Sinai, and a mental health hospital in El Mahalla El Kubra in Gharbia.
