Geneva – Together – The United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, reported that about 1.7 million people were displaced in the Gaza Strip, half of whom were children, and many of whom were displaced several times.
UNICEF called for the implementation of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stressing that there is no safe place in Gaza.
She pointed out that families who survived the war in Gaza are being pushed into crowded areas, where they live on the streets or in buildings under construction.
