FM Praises Arab World Institute’s Cultural Role During Paris Visit


Paris: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty highlighted the pivotal cultural role of the Arab World Institute in Paris in promoting civilizational dialogue between the Arab world and France, and in showcasing Arab culture as a key component of shared human heritage.



According to State Information Service Egypt, during his visit to the Institute on Sunday, October 5, 2025, Abdelatty met with its president, former French culture minister Jack Lang, where he stressed the importance of preserving global heritage as a foundation for fostering diversity, understanding, and human and cultural ties among nations.



He also emphasized the cultural dimension of Egypt’s foreign policy as a vital tool for connection and dialogue with the world, praising the strong cultural bonds between Egypt and France.



The minister toured the ongoing ‘Cleopatra’ exhibition, commending its artistic presentation of Egypt’s rich historical legacy.



For his part, Lang hailed Egypt’s active support for the Institute’s initiatives and its contribution to strengthening Arab-French cultural cooperation, noting the strong public interest in Egyptian-themed events hosted by the Institute.
