Paris: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty left for Paris on Thursday 2/10/2025 as part of the Foreign Ministry’s ongoing efforts to support the nomination of Khaled Anani for the post of Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

According to State Information Service Egypt, the UNESCO Executive Board is scheduled to hold elections on Monday. Abdelatty’s visit includes a series of meetings with senior French officials, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging views on key regional issues that are of mutual concern.
