FM Checks on Well-Being of Egyptian Communities in Gulf, Jordan, Iraq

Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty during his tour and contacts with counterparts in Gulf states as well as Jordan and Iraq, checked on conditions of Egyptian communities in those countries in line with directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. During his visits and calls, the minister voiced appreciation to officials in Arab countries for their care and support for Egyptian expatriates, amid the exceptional circumstances in the region, noting their important role in supporting development efforts in host countries.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty said all efforts and care reflect deep-rooted fraternal ties and close partnerships between Egypt and other Arab states, as well as a shared commitment to strengthening people-to-people and institutional cooperation. He emphasized that Egyptians abroad remain a top priority for the Foreign Ministry, adding that embassies and consulates continue to monitor their conditions around the clock.

The minister highlighted the ministry's coordination with its consular sector and the maintenance of contact with authorities in host countries to meet the needs of Egyptian expatriates and provide necessary support. The ongoing efforts aim to ensure the well-being and security of Egyptians living abroad, reinforcing the strong bonds between Egypt and the nations hosting its citizens.
