El-Sisi Performs Friday Prayers at Al Mosheer Tantawy Mosque on Occasion of Martyr’s Day

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, performed Friday prayers at Al-Mosheer Tantawi Mosque. This event aligns with Egypt's and the Armed Forces' celebrations of Martyr and Veteran's Day.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the prayers were attended by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, as well as a number of ministers, senior state officials, and commanders of the main branches and the Armed Forces.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that Sheikh Dr. El Sayyed Hussein Abdel Bary delivered the Friday sermon. During the sermon, he spoke about the virtue of martyrdom and the status of those who have sacrificed their lives for the security and sanctity of the homeland. He emphasized the importance of following in the footsteps of these righteous martyrs to ensure the nation's flag remains flying high.
