Cairo: The state's primary goal is to build a healthy and secure society while supporting and enhancing efforts toward sustainable development, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated during his tour of the 'Smart Digital Health Gate' exhibition. This event was part of the third edition of the Global Congress on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC'25), held under the theme 'Empowering People... Advancing Progress... Expanding Opportunities.'
According to State Information Service Egypt, Madbouly emphasized the significance of translating innovative ideas into practical services that enhance citizens' lives, aligning with the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030. The exhibition spanned 6,400 square meters and featured 79 participants, making it a prominent platform for showcasing cutting-edge innovations and solutions in the healthcare sector.
The exhibition showcased a robust mix of public and private sector participation, including 61 private entities. Among these were 19 pharmaceutical companies, 14 technology firms, eight medical equipment manufacturers, and several private hospitals and banks. Additionally, 18 government bodies and civil society organizations participated, demonstrating constructive collaboration in supporting human development efforts.
During his visit, the prime minister inspected key booths, including 'Mindray,' which displayed locally manufactured devices such as ultrasound, X-ray, and AED machines. He also explored the Egyptian International Optics Company's booth with its 'operation capsule,' the 'Wadi El Nile' booth featuring a dental manufacturing robot, and the 'Systics' booth showcasing an innovative model of a smart hospital and an advanced control room.
Madbouly lauded the productive cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Population and its various local and international partners, particularly the joint initiatives implemented with the ministry. He highlighted the critical importance of investing in health innovation to improve the quality of medical services and advance digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
