Egyptian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Ukraine Crisis

Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty engaged in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral relations and addressing the ongoing Ukraine crisis. During this discussion, Abdelatty emphasized the importance of bolstering cooperation in key areas such as economic, trade, investment, and tourism to benefit both nations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty also proposed the establishment of a global hub for grain storage, supply, and trade in Egypt. This initiative is aimed at supporting food security and fortifying supply chains, leveraging Egypt's strategic location and its advanced logistical capabilities.

Furthermore, in addressing the Ukrainian crisis, Abdelatty reiterated Egypt's commitment to diplomatic solutions, advocating for sustained political efforts to achieve peace through dialogue. He stressed that these efforts should aim to uphold both regional and international security and stability, aligning with Egypt's long-standing stance on peaceful conflict resolution.
