Cairo: EgyptAir announced that it has successfully renewed its ISO certifications for the 19th consecutive year without any non-conformities or observations, after fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018, and 10002:2018 standards. These standards cover quality, occupational health and safety, environmental management, and customer satisfaction measurement.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the renewal followed an inspection conducted by a delegation from GIC Egypt, a company specializing in quality certification. EgyptAir emphasized that this achievement underscores its commitment to applying international standards across its air transport operations.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EgyptAir Holding Company, Ahmed Adel, expressed satisfaction with the renewal, describing the ISO certifications as among the highest international accreditations in these fields. He remarked that the certifications reflect the company's ability to pursue continued development and improve the services provided to passengers.

The Chief Executive Officer of EgyptAir stated that the primary objective of obtaining these certifications is to ensure the safety of operations and enhance airline efficiency. This move reflects EgyptAir's commitment to implementing international safety and quality standards, aligning with its status as a global airline and a leading carrier in the Middle East and Africa.

Following a meeting to discuss the final report on the renewal, Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, Mohamed Alyan, thanked the audit preparation team and all employees for their efforts in securing the renewal. He noted that the certifications are key requirements for EgyptAir's membership in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Star Alliance, underscoring the competence of operational teams in maintaining high levels of quality and safety.

He further explained that the continued success is the result of teamwork and integration across the company's sectors, along with ongoing updates to systems and procedures to meet evolving international requirements.

The audit was conducted by verifying the implementation of all standard requirements in coordination with the General Department of Safety, Quality and Measurements, led by pilot Ahmed Raafat and his co-pilot Ahmed Moharram, in cooperation with all sectors and general departments of the airline. Their performance was praised by the GIC Egypt inspectors.

The delegation commended EgyptAir employees for their performance, efficiency, and commitment to applying all required international standards, qualifying the company to obtain the certifications in a manner that reflects its name and history. The successful inspection reaffirms EgyptAir's position as a leading carrier in implementing international safety procedures and quality standards, following the completion of several other audits, including GHS and IOSA inspections.
