Egypt Launches Major Tourism Promotion Campaign in Turkey

Cairo: The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, through the Egyptian Tourism Authority, has initiated a significant advertising campaign in Turkey to position Egypt as a top-tier travel destination.

According to State Information Service Egypt, a statement from the ministry on Friday, 6/2/2026, revealed that the campaign is part of a broader strategy to enhance Egypt's tourism presence in international markets, with a special emphasis on Turkey. The initiative is also designed to amplify Egypt's participation in the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT), which is being held in Istanbul from February 5 to 7.

The campaign is primarily focused on showcasing the variety and unique appeal of Egypt's tourism offerings, leveraging digital advertisements and static billboards strategically placed in high-traffic areas. Promotional materials are prominently displayed across major streets in Istanbul, at Istanbul International Airport, and around the exhibition venue, aiming to capture the attention of a broad audience.

By targeting these strategic locations, the campaign endeavors to deliver promotional messages to the widest possible audience, enhancing Egypt's competitive position in the global tourism industry.
