Guatemala city: Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Guatemala Hatem Hassouna met with the Guatemalan Foreign Minister Carlos Ramiro Martinez. The discussions focused on developing bilateral relations, particularly in mutual investment and trade, and strengthening cultural and tourism cooperation between Egypt and Guatemala.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Guatemalan Foreign Minister welcomed the proposals aimed at enhancing cooperation in these vital areas. He praised the friendly relations between Egypt and Guatemala, noting their positive interactions at both the bilateral and multilateral levels.
