The statement from Hamas reflects a commitment to protecting the lives of innocent civilians and a desire to conclude a turbulent chapter in the region’s history, ultimately aiming toward realizing the Palestinian people’s aspirations for statehood.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Egyptian government reiterated its support for President Trump’s efforts and vision to achieve peace and stability in the region. Egypt commended Trump’s commitment to ending the conflict in Gaza, rejecting the annexation of the West Bank, and opposing the displacement of Palestinians. Additionally, Trump’s plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip, while ensuring Palestinians remain in their territories and facilitating the return of those wishing to do so, was highlighted as a demonstration of wise leadership and a clear vision for Middle East peace.

Egypt expressed hope that the recent developments would inspire all parties to meet their responsibilities by implementing President Trump’s plan.
