Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned the decisions approved by Israel aimed at deepening the plan for the illegal annexation of Palestinian territories in the West Bank. These measures include lifting the confidentiality of land records, facilitating the seizure of Palestinian properties, transferring municipal authorities of Hebron to the occupying authorities, as well as imposing procedures that enable the demolition of Palestinian buildings.According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt affirmed that these decisions constitute a flagrant violation of international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, a deliberate undermining of the existing legal and historical status quo, and a clear contravention of the 1997 Hebron Agreement. The statement stressed that these measures are effectively aimed at entrenching annexation, expanding settlement activity, and imposing full Israeli control over Pales tinian land. Egypt also called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to immediately halt these violations, ensure respect for international humanitarian law, and protect the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
