Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned the malicious attacks that targeted a military camp, a power generation station, and a water desalination plant in sisterly Kuwait, which resulted in injuries among Kuwaiti armed forces personnel. The country expressed its sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Monday, Egypt affirmed that these rejected and unjustified attacks constitute a blatant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, a clear breach of the principles and rules of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional peace and security at this critical time.

Egypt stressed its full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and all sisterly Gulf countries in confronting Iranian attacks, affirming its support for all measures taken by Kuwait to protect its national security and preserve its sovereignty.
