Rimini: The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has made a significant impact at the 62nd edition of the TTG Travel Experience 2025 held in Rimini, Italy. Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Strategic Management Affairs and Acting CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, Ahmed Youssef, emphasized the crucial role Italy plays as a major export market for Egyptian tourism.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Youssef highlighted a substantial 49% increase in Italian tourists visiting Egypt in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year. This boost underscores the Ministry’s strategy to engage actively in prominent tourism events and broaden Egypt’s tourism market.
The Egyptian pavilion at the event was inaugurated by Youssef and Walid Othman, the Egyptian Consul in Milan. During the event, Youssef engaged in numerous professional meetings with key figures from the tourism sector, including senior tour operators, representatives of tourism companies, and Italian media. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and developing strategies to promote the diverse attractions and offerings of Egypt as a tourist destination.
