Riyadh: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty engaged in discussions with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Riyadh, marking the conclusion of his Arab tour. The meeting underscored the ongoing close consultation and coordination between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Abdelatty reiterated Egypt's unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing Cairo's firm rejection and condemnation of any attacks targeting Saudi territory and other Arab states.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty highlighted that there is no justification for such aggressive acts, stressing that any violation of Saudi sovereignty directly impacts Egyptian and Arab national security. The discussions prioritized efforts to de-escalate regional tensions, with both ministers examining the severe consequences of the existing military escalation. Abdelatty cautioned against relying on military solutions, asserting that they would only exacerbate the crisis and widen the conflict. He advocated for an immediate cessation of attacks, urging a focus on diplomacy and dialogue to prevent the region from descending into further instability.

The talks also explored strategies to bolster Arab national security, with Abdelatty emphasizing the critical need to develop a practical framework for collective Arab and regional security.
