Cairo: Egypt has achieved continued growth in the Digitalization of Work and Training Index issued by the Digital Cooperation Organization, placing it within the Leading Level category. Egypt’s score increased by 1.9 points between 2024 and 2025, reaching 80.3 points in 2025, reflecting significant progress in digital transformation in the work and training sectors.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this improvement comes as a result of key initiatives such as ‘Our Future Is Digital,’ which aims to provide free training for youth in the latest digital skills, opening up opportunities for online freelance work. It also includes the ‘Digital Egypt Builders’ initiative, which contributes to empowering young people and equipping them with the skills needed to meet the demands of the local and international digital labor markets.
