Education Ministry and National Press Authority Sign Protocol to Boost Digital Learning Services

Cairo: Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif announced a new collaboration with Dar El Tahrir for Printing and Publishing, highlighting the vital role of press institutions as partners in the advancement of the education system. The announcement was made during the signing of a cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing educational services and promoting digital transformation within the education sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the protocol signing was attended by Head of the National Press Authority (NPA) Abdel Sadeq El Shorbagy, Assistant Minister for Presidential Initiatives and Curriculum Development Akram Hassan, and Chairman of Dar El Tahrir Tarek Mohamed Lotfy, along with senior officials. This agreement aims to integrate state institutions to support students by providing reliable educational content, thereby improving academic achievement and advancing digital transformation efforts within the education system.

Abdel Latif emphasized that the protocol serves as a model of integration among state institutions to bolster student support and ensure quality educational content. Shorbagy commended the ministry's progress in education system development, noting Dar El Tahrir's historic role in offering educational services, including a free educational supplement that has been available for over 50 years and is being updated to align with technological advancements.

The protocol focuses on supporting digital transformation by delivering high-quality digital and printed educational services through Dar El Tahrir. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on Egyptian families by providing reliable, curriculum-aligned content and digital assessments for students. The Ministry of Education will supervise and approve all educational content published through Dar El Tahrir's platform and printed materials, ensuring they meet quality and curriculum alignment standards. Dar El Tahrir is tasked with providing a secure and user-friendly digital platform and issuing educational publications that adhere to regulatory standards.
