Cairo: Cairo University has been featured in a dedicated chapter in a new publication by Springer Nature documenting its integrated strategy for sustainable development, marking international recognition of the university's approach to sustainability in higher education.According to State Information Service Egypt, Cairo University President Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek said the chapter presents the university's comprehensive model for integrating sustainability into academic, research, and operational systems.He added that the publication reflects international recognition of the university's efforts to link digital transformation with environmental sustainability and to incorporate sustainable development principles into its institutional identity.Additionally, the university officials stated that the experience presented in the book covers initiatives in education, research, campus operations, waste management, and community engagement.They noted that the university continues to update its 2025-2030 st rategic plan to support sustainability objectives in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.
