Cabinet Spokesman Highlights Success of ‘Decent Life’ Initiative in Achieving Village Development

Cairo: Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed el-Homsani announced that the government has successfully achieved integrated development in villages through the presidential initiative 'Decent Life.' This initiative focuses on improving living standards and upgrading basic services in the most underprivileged areas.

According to State Information Service Egypt, el-Homsani stated during a phone call with Extra News that an additional EGP 15 billion will be allocated to expedite the implementation of the 'Decent Life' initiative. This move aligns with directives from the political leadership, aiming to complete the first phase of projects and swiftly initiate the second and third phases as soon as possible.

The spokesman highlighted the government's efforts in upgrading and expanding services in numerous villages. These efforts include enhancing sanitation networks, water treatment plants, and access to clean drinking water. Additionally, plans are underway to develop the health and education sectors, along with other services crucial to citizens' daily lives.
