Cairo: World-renowned artist Bryan Adams and his family visited the Giza Pyramids on Saturday, following his concert at the Grand Egyptian Museum on Friday evening. The visit underscored Egypt's significance in cultural tourism and offered the family an opportunity to explore the ancient wonders.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the tour was led by Ashraf Mohieddin, the Director General of the Giza Antiquities Area, and was arranged after a welcome from Dr. Ahmed Youssef, the CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion. Dr. Youssef highlighted Egypt's wide array of tourism opportunities during the visit.
Adams and his family were captivated by the engineering marvel of the Great Pyramid and visited the tomb of Seshemnefer, where they admired the detailed inscriptions that illustrate aspects of ancient Egyptian life. At the Sphinx, Adams inquired about its historical significance and the intricacies of its carvings.
